Companies can spend thousands of dollars on cultural
diversity training and sexual harassment training, with disappointing
results if the two trainings aren't integrated. In an intercultural
work environment, male/female relationships are complicated by
differences in culturally dictated gender roles. In certain industries
with many male Hispanic workers, the nature of the working
relationship between these men and the female supervisors and
co-workers must be addressed
and not overlooked.
