Organizational Development Consultant

·       Assessed organizational development needs through meetings with executives and supervisors, written surveys, employee focus groups, and professional experience with other organizations.  Provided honest and objective feedback to client.  Consulted with organizations’ task forces or leadership teams to determine next steps to be taken in the organizational change process 

·      Developed corporate management teams, multicultural departments, and organizational communication and systems  to improve productivity and performance. Facilitated strategic planning. Met in consultation groups, employee focus groups, and trained in targeted areas identified through assessment and consultation.  Led board development programs for nonprofit agencies.    

·       Resolved organizational crisis situations  in government and  for-profit agencies, such as: leadership breakdown within a major department, interpersonal conflict between key  personnel, sexual harassment with potential for employee litigation, conflicts between self-directed work teams,  values differences among team  foremen, and conflicts between co-owners of family businesses.   Analyzed processes, prepared alternative solutions, executed advantageous interventions, and provided written  reports and follow-up recommendations to chief executive officers. 

·      Coached over 150 small business owners, managers of larger companies, departmental heads, and city officials  to become more successful regarding personnel issues, time management, stress management, leadership, and identifying personal and business values and priorities.  Contracted with Right  Management Consultants International as one of the company's certified coaches.

sustaining culturally competent language assistance services to patients who have
limited English proficiency.

Chief administrator for hospital-based counseling program 
.Coordinated with CEO and  Controller regarding financial planning, program development, and marketing.   Santa-Ana Tustin Community Hospital, Santa Ana California. 

Chief administrator and program developer for school-based counseling program . Created and implemented start-up counseling program with discretion over annual budget of  approximately $200,000 in 1993. Contracted for nearly four years with county
administration at the Sonoma County Office of Education, Santa Rosa, California.

industrial injury . Consulted with attorneys  regarding workers’ compensation,
personal injury, sexual harassment, and criminal offenses such as embezzlement
and sexual assault.
