Arturo Aleman
Organization and Business Development Consultant

Born in San Diego, Mr. Aleman began his career in politics at the age of 14 as one of the original members
of the Mexican American Political Association.  Upon his return from Viet Nam, Mr. Aleman completed his college education at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo while working as a Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of California.  At Cal Poly Mr. Aleman was a member of the Mustang Daily editorial board, Chairman of the Native American Students Organization, and a member of the President’s Convocational Speakers Committee.  From 1975 to 1977 Mr. Aleman work as staff to the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors.  In 1977 Mr. Aleman moved to Sacramento where he worked in many state agencies, culminating his career as an appointee of the Governor in 2002.  Mr. Aleman opened his consulting firm in 1982 and has worked on numerous and varied management projects for public and private entities.
